Hello!! I’m in need of a HUGE signal boost right now (and maybe a big reporting session) because my best friend is being blackmailed by her ex boyfriend.

I’m not exactly sure what I’m supposed to put here, but I feel like this should be a warning for anyone who knows him and just a general informative thing. Jacob lives in Australia and is 16 years of age. They’ve had a very unhealthy relationship and he’s threatened sending out her nudes multiple times. Jacob is very manipulative and emotionally abusive towards her and even ends up pulling me and her other friends into not being able to do anything because it’ll end up hurting her. He’s made around 7 Twitter accounts to contact my friend in the times that she was trying to get out of the relationship.

In the picture above, he’s posted her nudes and threatened her.

ALL IM ASKING IS FOR YOU TO REPORT HIM ON EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING:

His Twitter accounts all start with @/neinthousand but the one that was most recently used was: @/neinthousand12 (but it was apparently deleted)

His Facebook account is:Jacob R Hynes, and he has more but I am unable to find them. They’re under Jacob Hynes and the like.

********** UPDATES!!! **********

First, we thought we had a compromise.

Then this happened not even a minute after:

PLEASE CONTINUE REBLOGGING THIS. My friend is only 15 years of age and this is absolutely horrible. We’re getting ahold of local authorities but if you see the pictures anywhere (namely twitter) REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY.

This 16 yr old boy could literally put a girls life in danger pls destroy him

Last Sunday, 17 trans women were arrested in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia were arrested at a local wedding simply for being trans. 16 of them were fined RM950 (296.55 USD) and sentenced to prison for 7 days. If they do not pay up the fine after 7 days they will be sentenced to prison for 6 months. One of the 17 was underage so she was let go, but she is now required to report to the Religious Department once a month for a year.
Justice for Sisters, a support and advocacy group for the rights of trans women in Malaysia, managed to secure a syariah-court lawyer to held these women appeal their sentences. The lawyer advised them to prepare RM1,500 (468.24 USD) per person as it is apparently a common practice for the court to ask for more money from detainees who appeal their sentences.
As their Malaysian ICs all say “male”, if imprisoned, they will be sent to men’s prison and treated as male prisoners - including shaved heads and lack of access to hormones.
Justice for Sisters is currently fundraising RM24,000 (7491.81 USD) and needs the money immediately. They are accepting PayPal donations at pp.justiceforsisters@gmail.com . (I created the PayPal link - if that doesn’t work just manually put in pp.justiceforsisters@gmail.com in the PayPal Send To address. Note the “PP.”!)
For more information, email them at justiceforsisters@gmail.com (note the lack of “pp.”).
Context: Trans women in Malaysia recently filed a groundbreaking court case asserting their civil rights.
From I AM YOU: Be A Trans Ally, a Malaysian social media campaign for trans* people and their supporters. Please pass the word!
EDIT: The first version of this had a typo - the original fine is actually RM950 not RM960 as I had written. The converted amount in USD is correct.

Please donate if you can

For me and my friends growing up, being told things like ‘you have to wear this because that’s what boys wear” or “dresses are for not for your body type” was frustrating and a pretty bad time.

The bottom line for me is, if someone feels happier and more comfortable in a particular ‘type’ of uniform, then that’s something that should be encouraged, not punished. Students have enough to focus on at school, having to fight to be yourself shouldn’t be added to that.

That’s why we’ve launched a new campaign called Gender is Not Uniform.

#ISeeYou
This is a new blog in defense and in support of characters the AOS fandom shoves to the side and/or stomps on, specifically Mike Peterson and Akela Amador. Characters featured may also include Antoine Triplett, Victoria Hand, Melinda May, and other marginalized characters the fandom hates or ignores.
This movement is not for Ward. Ward and Hydra apologists are not welcome here.
We will feature meta, fanfics, fanart, and any other tributes to these characters. If you post anything related to the movement, please tag it #AOSISeeYou. Please submit! We’d love to see your content. And spread the word! These characters deserve love too.

So I’m thinking of starting a movement for Mike Peterson and Akela Amador.

chicoryandsunflowers:

And possibly include Victoria Hand (#SaveVictoriaHand was more directed at the show to bring her back rather than at fandom) and other characters fandom likes to stomp on (Melinda and Skye, maybe? Although Melinda has #MelindaMayMatters and I’m not sure if Skye has anything). If people have opinions on this, I would really like to hear them, and I’m perfectly fine if people just want this to be for Akela and Mike (or have two separate movements for each). Additionally, it’s been a while since I’ve watched AOS all the way through, so if there are other characters fandom ignores and stomps on that I’ve missed, feel free to bring that to my attention too.

I’m thinking of calling the movement #ISeeYou (or some more AOS-specific variation of that), because these are characters the AOS fandom likes to pretend don’t exist (and when they do, they tend to stomp on them). These characters should not be invisible, and they deserve better.

Also, this movement is not for Ward. At all. Ever.

He has his own movement, and part of the reason I’m making this movement is in response to SWW stans being like “If you don’t think Mike and Akela get enough attention, make a movement yourself, because we want to talk about Ward.” So guess what? I am.

If people are interested, I would really appreciate some help with this. Since all of the characters I mentioned except for Victoria are PoC, I would feel a lot of better if I had someone non-white on board, since as a white person, I don’t want to step out of bounds. I’m bisexual, so I feel more comfortable talking about SJ-related issues as they pertain to Victoria as a queer woman, since it’s not my place to talk about race.

However, this movement isn’t necessarily focusing on SJ-related stuff - those issues are definitely relevant and I’m sure they will come up in meta, but all in all, I want this to be a movement to give these characters more love and attention, like they deserve. Meta, fanart, fic recs, you name it, we want it.

I’m probably going to make a blog for this, if people are interested, and I would like to pick some co-mods. Reply to this post or message me if you’re interested (Ward/Hydra apologists not welcome)! I really hope this thing can get its feet on the ground. These characters deserve better, both from the show, and from the fandom.
